Here is a list of questions that we are most often asked by families who are interested in applying to Arndale Academy. WE hope it is helpful, but please do not hesitate to contact the Registrar’s Office for assistance.
The school is lucky to have a very spacious campus situated in a peaceful and quite neighborhood in Karmo with panoramic views, orchard and green areas, extensive playing fields and swimming pools. We have 24 state of the art classrooms, fully quipped laboratories and a sick bay.
The school day starts at 7:40am and ends at 2:00pm for the primary sections, and at 3:00 for the secondary sections, except for early dismissal at 1:00 on Fridays.
The school year usually runs from first of September to the end of July. The year is made up of 3 terms.
We base our curriculum on the Nigerian and English Cambridge frameworks to meet the needs of international education. We practice education with blended hands-on STEAM and UCMAS approach to teaching.
The range of activities is extensive with everything from sports to arts and educational clubs. With a multitude of extracurricular activities on offer, students are never short of choices.

Our school fees vary depending on what year a student is in and whether they are boarding or day students.
Yes, our school buses cover different routes and destinations.
We accept boarding from Junior and Senior Secondary School, both boys and girls.
From Primary 1 upwards, candidates will be given a placement test in Math, English, Science, and General Studies. All applicants are interviewed to determine language proficiency and allow us to place the student in the appropriate section.
In addition to the Creche section that accepts children from 6 months to 2 years of age, School enrolment starts from 2 years in the Early Years section.
When a family is applying from a different state within Nigeria or from abroad, a provisional acceptance can be made based on school report. To gain final approval, students must attend an interview and sit a placement test.
